October's contest winner is Anna R.

You guessed correctly and won the contest  and a cool prize from Hawaii. Good Job Anna!!!

Anna correctly guessed the artist as  fav surf artist & north shore surfer Heather Brown and who could miss that surfboard?? That is my personal favorite surfer Gerry Lopez from Aina Haina of course!

Anna surfs and lives on a quiet locals’ break on the north end of Virginia Beach; and, close enough to squish home in flip flops and wetsuit booties alike. Her favorite ride is an 8’6” custom bonzer by Austin, a homegrown shaper who now stocks shops as far away as Germany. When she is not surfing, Anna works in the field of assistive technology for the local school syst

About Anna

Anna lives in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and began surfing 4 years ago. She grew up near the beach, but her family spent most weekends driving inland to paddle whitewater streams throughout the east coast. Eventually, as a teenager, the paddling trips decreased until there were none. Ten years later, she met a man who brought her right back to her water-loving roots.
She fell in love with him and with
surfing, and both have proven to make her grin from ear to ear at any given moment.
